Mockingjay Release!!

Tomorrow, August 24, is the much anticipated release of Mockingjay, the third and final book in Suzanne Collins's dystopian Hunger Games trilogy. If you haven't had a chance to read the books in this series, what are you waiting for?!

A couple of weeks ago, while at Next Chapter for a reading, I picked up the first book, The Hunger Games, after speaking to one of the staff about it. I don't read a lot of YA, but figured I would give it a shot. I read it in one day and it did not disappoint!

So, while taking part in the fervor of the Mockingjay release, I will also be picking up the second book, Catching Fire. Take a wild guess what I'll be doing the rest of the week? ;-)

We will be having snacks inspired by the book, trivia contests and tribute games, featuring the cornucopia! And the one who, at the end of the night, scores the most points wins a copy of Mockingjay! Books go on sale at Midnight, supplied by our friends at Next Chapter Bookshop!

If you are unable to attend the event tonight, then head out first thing to pick up a copy from Next Chapter Bookshop. The first 20 people that come in to buy the book get a special limited edition Hunger Games keychain! Store opens at 10am.
