Julia Glass at Next Chapter, TODAY!

Julia Glass, author of The Widower's Tale

Join the author of Three Junes, The Whole World Over, and I See You Everywhere for a special, catered Sunday afternoon event!

In The Widower's Tale, Julia Glass plumbs the depth of the human heart, spinning a captivating tale about the loyalties, rivalries and secrets of a very particular family. In his historic farmhouse outside Boston, seventy-year-old Percy Darling is settling into retirement. His relaxing routines are interrupted, however, when he is persuaded to let a locally beloved preschool take over his barn.

As his refuge is filled by children, parents and teachers, he realizes he must reexamine th esolitary life he has made for hiimself in the decades since the death of his wife. No longer can he remain aloof from his family, his community, his children, or even the precarious joy of falling in love.

Tickets ($5.00 each) are required for this event, and include admission and light refreshments. Tickets are available now at Next Chapter Bookshop, by phone at (262) 241-6220, or online.
